An ancient Bordeaux grape variety, Bouchalès nearly disappeared in the 19th Century. Light in alcohol, with a high, crisp acidity and good structure, its a grape variety that is benefitting from the slightly warmer climate in present day Bordeaux.
Vinified and aged for one year in stoneware amphora. Ripe, smoky and fresh.
